Valentines and stuff...

Well this week was Valentines Day. For the most part, I think Valentines Day is a bunch of crap, but it is nice to be remembered. Bob and have never been one of those couples that spends a huge amount of money on gifts for Valentines Day. Honestly, I think if you love somebody you should show it every day and not wait for a specific day to do good things for them.

We decided to go the National Aquarium with Sophia for Valentine's Day. We had a great day and most importantly Sophia loved it. She was excited from the moment we walked in the door. It is expensive to get in (21.95 for adults), but it really is nice. There is a new Australian exhibit was really cool. Sophia loved the birds in that area, but told us that the sharks were her favorite things.

Our new dog, Vinny, got out of his leash yesterday and ran all over the neighborhood for over an hour and would not let me catch him. I was pissed, but I think he was more pissed when I tried to get his leash back on him, because he bit me and bit me hard. I was so tired and mad by this point that I was ready to just let him run away. Thankfully, Vinny followed one of our neighborhood kids and I was able to catch him. He was not wanting to come in the house. I am just hoping that he will get better after obedience classes, which don't start until March 2nd.

I have been trying to get Sophia potty trained. She is totally resisting it. I can not understand why, but everything I have read says to not force it, that they will learn when they are ready. I certainly don't want her to be traumatized give her some sort of horrible problem for the future. It is so hard to know what to do, but I do know that am tired of changing diapers. But for now, I will just let do things at her own pace.

Well that is about it for me. If you have somebody that you love, do something nice for them. Remember it doesn't have to cost money. Sometimes, the best things in life are free.

Love to you...
